Hey so hopefully everyone is doing well so here is kind of a progress update. My group got a scene into unreal, and we are proud of the because it looks really nice, but at the same time we are determined to finish this film, so I feel some long hours are ahead of us. I personally was out sick for the last 2 weeks due to all of my family having covid, so I felt like I was a little out of the loop coming into class this morning. However the other girlboss filled me in on where we are at on things and so I am supporting the unreal team by gettiong everything exported into unreal. I got to say our biggest hurdle right now it running into unreal problems and then figuring out how to problem solve them, which is really frustrating because unreal is even more stubborn then maya. I personally am alright, honestly I do not feel that finish line thing quite yet although I am starting to now, its just hard for my brain to believe I guess. While in class I got the court house to finally work and I was really happy about that and the texture came out nice, there are some things that I do want to fix, but right now they are not my main priority and we are really focusing on aspects that the camera will see rather than the stuff that wont be seen. We hope by next week we can have all of the animation in unreal, that way we can countine to refine, but that is going to be very difficult, so we will see where we end up with that.
