  • I meant to release this blog post a lot sooner than now, but there has been a lot on my plate lately. So, the weeks before break I started to fall behind in the rest of my classes, so I had to spend some time catching up assignments and getting assignments to the level that I would like them to be at. So before break I took the time arrange a meeting with our group and an instructor at our school named Jermey, he had some time and such that he passed to another group to help with time management, and I felt like that lesson would be important to my group's future. So, before the break began, we met with him, and he helped us make a better time schedule for the assets and for the production possess as a whole. So Rigby and I made a more detailed shot sheet and asset sheet for the group to use. However, tools are only good if you use them to their full potential, and I am worried that we may not do that because we have not been really good with those kinds of things as a group. So that is for sure I worry I had, I have just also been having trouble balancing school, work, and the film recently, ive had to really take a step back and work on that stuff which got to be kind of frustrating because I wanted to work on our film. However, despite that I did get to work on setting up the environment a little bit more so there was more vegetation and that we had what we needed in there, so it was not too much, so I felt that was helpful. Another thing that I focused on with our rigger was getting his rigs and the animation that was beginning made into unreal engine, which we successful did do in the end. Coming back from fall break in the next few weeks I would like to work on get all of the charts filled out with the shot sheet and asset sheet so we can figure out if we are on track to meet a march deadline which is roughly 90-120 days from right now. I feel like we can hit that date, but I would like to get an idea of if this is a suitable goal first, to see if we need to adjust anything. I am just glad to on a break it was well needed.
